The Editorial Team of JTDP welcomes the submissions of unpublished, original works for publication in the inaugural issue (Spring Issue: Vol.1, No.1) of JTDP.
The Editorial Team seeks for high quality publications that share the theme and epitome of the journal. Contributions from researchers in research institutes and academis are welcome.
Submissions received by 15th March, 2010 shall be considered for publication in the Spring 2010 issue.
SUBMISSION PROCEDURE
1. Two versions of the submission must be uploaded/submitted. In the second submission, information that identifies the author must be removed so that it is sent anonymously to the referees for peer review.
2. Authors may submit their manuscripts either online or by e-mail.

PEER REVIEW POLICY
All submissions in the journal will undergo editorial screening and an anonymous double-blind peer review. The reviewers will be selected from among scholars in the field of international and development economics. The articles are reviewed keeping in mind the following parameters:
Originality Relevance Credibility/Rigor Adherence to instructions of JTDP (Instructions to Author) Structure Content Language Clarity of presentation Cited Sources
The decision to reject/accept or accept with revisions lies with the Editor of JTDP.
AUTHOR GUIDELINES
General Guidelines
1. Submissions must be original, must not be published elsewhere, and must not be given for publication to some other journal at the same time. Research misconduct such as plagiarism and data fabrication will lead to a ban on future publications by the author.
2. The submission of an article to the Editors does not secure publication in JTDP. Authors will be notified of the status of their submissions.

Specific Guidelines
1. An abstract of 150-200 words must precede the body of work of an article.
2. The submissions must adhere to the Author's Instructions, such as font type, spacing, page numbers, word limits, abbreviations, etc.
3. All articles must be submitted in English, pages numbered consecutively, beginning with the title page. Standard font type such as Times New Roman and font size of 12 shoud be used.
4. The articles must be relevant to the scope of the journal and deal with issues of interest. The articles must have findings that are new, useful, credible and strong. The citation sources must be of good quality and up-to date. The references must be cited appropriately and no refernce that has been cited should be missing.
5. The language used must be readable, understandable, and should take care of clarity so that conclusions, interpretations, implications and speculations are distinguishable.
6. Each article should be between 10,000 to 12,000 words. Any departure from this word limit may be considered by the Editorial Team.
7. In case of first submission, an updated resume and a cover letter that mentions the author's name, affiliation, qualifications, and contact details must be subitted alongwith the manuscript.
